The Colchester Oyster Festival, a mixture of Fun and History.
Colchester is famous for it's " Native Oysters"
It is said the the Roman Conquerors, first introduced Oysters to Camulodunum (Colchester's Roman name)
So to celebrate the opening of the Season, we combine the Modern with Antiquity.
