Lovely scene as this rider comes through town at a slow trot. Well captured, Ken. ~V

This is great Ken! The slight breeze moving the flag and the horses mane adds a perfect touch to this.
I now can answer your question about the Mennonite buggy lights. They are battery powered. My Mennonite farmer friend charges the battery by a solar panel on the barn roof. :-) Who knew??
As to the smoking question. The farmers I know both Amish and Mennonite only a few smoke and not very often although I see more smoking at horse sales which surprised me quite a bit. I've even seen a few smoking in the barn. Really surprising. Go figure. As far as raising tobacco as a crop it seems to be just a cash crop to them with no moral judgment involved.
Cheers my friend!
