Framlingham Suffolk England

Why visit Framlingham? ( Text copied from Internet)
Framlingham is a small historic market town in the heart of Suffolk that boasts many tourist attractions. These include a 12th Century curtain-walled CASTLE where Mary Tudor was proclaimed Queen, ST. MICHAEL'S CHURCH which is said to contain some of the finest tombs in Europe and FRAMLINGHAM COLLEGE, an imposing mock-gothic building which overlooks FRAMLINGHAM MERE, a lake which is a haven for wildlife.

In the town, there are many interesting buildings including Sir Robert Hitcham Almshouses in New Road and Thomas Mills Almshouses in Station Road. See photos of Framlingham's main attractions. Three miles away from Framlingham is the 390th Bombardment Group museum at Parham. Schools in Framlingham include Sir Robert Hitcham's Primary School, Thomas Mill's High School, and Framlingham College.
