My son is serving in the US Army stationed in Kandahar, Afghanistan. He is the officer in charge of the Joint Visitors Bureau (JVB) and as such he hosts many senior officers, dignitaries and USO tour celebrities. This gallery is dedicated to the images that he sends me from there. No images will be shown that could in any way compromise security. Mike! My dad said you left a post on here. I hope all is well back at home, I am sure it is good to be there. If you ever make your way out to Hawaii, let me know. Oh, and about the basketball game ... pure luck.

I've been posted as the HQ RC(S) Chief JVB at KAF from Feb-Aug 2009. David and I have worked a lot together and have had lot of fun. It's been an absolute joy to have served side by side with him. Please give him my best and please note the fact that I've beaten him in a game of basketball...
