Eagle Creek is located in the western Gorge on the Oregon side of the river. Its cleverly-designed trail includes sections carved into basalt cliffs, and provides access to wildflowers, spectacular viewpoints, and many beautiful waterfalls including Metlako Falls, the often-photographed Punch Bowl Falls, and Tunnel Falls.

NOTE: While I consider them to be perfectly safe as long as common sense is in effect, the cliff sections of this trail do not include guard rails, so families with small children might not want to visit.
