Astialakwa was a fortified 1680 revolt pueblo on top of Guadalupe Mesa in Jemez New Mexico. The mesa top ruins are the result of 2 battles which took place between July 24th, 1694 and September 9th, 1694 between Spanish forces under Governor Diego Vargas,and the Jemez and their allies.
