Northern Shoveler Anas clypeata Common winter visitor, late August through April, in freshwater throughout all terrestrial regions. Rare individuals or pairs may spend the summer.
Habitat: Shallow wetlands.
Best locations: Widespread.
Note: Only one known breeding record in 1978.
