Brant Branta bernicla
Common winter visitor November through April. Primarily found in the Coastal region, but also found regularly flying along Nearshore and Offshore waters. Rare summering family groups in bays of Coastline.
Habitat: Eelgrass beds in bays.
Best locations: South end of San Diego Bay, Chula Vista Marina, Mission Bay.
