Uncommon resident primarily in Coastal and Lowlands regions toward the coast, especially in the northern part of the county.
Habitat: Riparian willows.
Best locations: Los Jilgueros Preserve at Fallbrook, Batiquitos Lagoon, Kit Carson Park, San Elijo Lagoon.
