Olympic (Glaucous-winged x Western) Gull

Fernhill Wetlands, Forest Grove, Oregon

Large first cycle gull with sloping forehead and big black bill with deep gonydial angle. Strong barring with too much contrast for Glaucous-winged; flight feathers too pale for Western.
