Churchland Bridge from old bridge approach		That oughtta do it for here.	"Hey fool, slow that train down!" "Get that piece of crap off the tracks!" (What obnoxious trespassers say when trains pass.)
"Hi! May we help you?"	Trackside conversation.	Western Freeway under construction - West Norfolk bridge in background.
	"Look what my taxes bought.......half a road!"
Roof tripod in use.	Enough of this......time for a scenic drive.	"Nice flock of birds, but let's go somewhere else. Any requests, Kink?"	"North Carolina, my friend!"
US 17 south of Newport News, new bridge under construction.	"Hey Kink, what's that building out in the water?" "That's where they catch crabs and drink."	"Here we are."	"Hot Dog! Drive all the way to North Carolina to walk through a dump..."
Charlie records the trip for future reference.	Rejected Pontiac commercial.	Charlie: "Billy, where to now?" Billy: "I don't care".	"Kink?"
"I say we go save Pig Point."	"Sound good to you, Billy? Let's go!"	"I think this might be the wrong road, Kink."	"Wrong location confirmed, Captain."
"I knew we'd get here sooner or later."	Kink opens the trunk to haul off prizes.	Unwanted cardboard immediately confiscated.	Various litter zones are mapped for later cleanup.
Blocked accessways are marked for clearing.	"No more time for this", Charlie decides. "On to the infrastructure".	Running water is restored.	"Main valve open, Kink. How're we looking down there?"
"Great, my friend! Keep it coming......"	The restrooms were satisfactory......no immediate action was necessary....	.....except this, of course.	Building damage was then assessed......
Key structural features were identified and labeled.	Windows were stripped and repair estimates made.	Kink gathers field data on the existing sewage plant.	Roof damage was documented for bid proposals.

With patience and skill, Charlie carefully installs the battery.	"Betcha I can hit the "on" button with this rock......."	"We'll both turn it on repeatedly.'	"No luck....these must be the wrong rocks.."
"Shucks! It's still not coming on for some reason. Must be busted.....Enough of this, Charlie, let's go to back work."	"Looks like the bridge is out and the asphalt is broken."	"I'll hand inspect the roadbed for integrity."	Integrity is of utmost importance.
"Nice creek, but something's missing", said Charlie.	"We need more trash on the shore!", said Kink.	Charlie immediately goes to work throwing new pipe in the water.	Furniture was then overturned and placed on the banks.
"Good job, my boy."	Back at the garbage pile, a prize section of rope was found.	An ownership dispute quickly arose.	Taken right before Kink let go, sending Charlie backward into a heap of junk.
"We need to prop something under that pool table leg.....it looks a little out of level."	Kink has a seat and is joined by the token stray dog.	A little reading should round out the break.	"Well, more work to do. There're piers to inspect."
"Let me go Charlie, I know how to walk through trash."	Dog explains plight, asks to be driven to Florida.	Many questions were asked.	Now to the piers.
Close inspection underway.	Close and careful.	After several minutes, it was determined that a large chunk of road had washed away.	An examination of the adjacent pier yielded a similar conclusion.
Charlie and Kink emerge from the wreckage after their landmark findings.	"Here ye all crab fishermen. We hereby close this dock until further notice."	Looks like more trouble.	"You can let go Charlie, I know how to walk through concrete rubble."

"Let's head home, Kink.....our work is done here."	"I feel like a million bucks! See ya next time...."	Kink: " There's just one more stop I need to make". Charlie: "Where's that, Kink?"	"You know where I need to go...........Billy knows, too......."
	"I hope Lillie Mae's not mad. We've been gone for hours."	"Better wipe your feet, Charlie. There's no tellin' what we stepped in."
