I knew Charlie and considered him a good friend. We were together at ft devens. We hung together and he made me a life long fan of johnny cash. I got orders for nam and he followed me over. I talked with him the night he was killed and got the call for a medivac. Charlie was well thought of by all who knew him and I still remember our time together with fond memories. Just a real great guy.

Jerry Weaver is my Uncle and I knew him for one brief year. I am trying to put together a memorial for him for his mother (97). I am currently in discussions with Dr Briskoe and my state senator (K Murphey) to get information out of brag on his commendations and how he passed in the line of duty. I'd love to know anything anyone could pass onto me or give me a phone number to call to discuss what you know about my late Uncle Jerry.

Just a FYI... That picture of Jerry Weaver (black hat) was taken at Camp Hardy Combat Training Center (1st SF Grp) . The camp was located in the northern training area, above Kin Village. I worked with Jerry in the arms room there, before I went to the Demo Committee. It looks like he was helping out with some A Team weapons training when that picture was taken. RIP Jerry
