Wedding Portfolio

What separates me from our competition is my 20 year experience in photojournalism, fashion, glamour, PR, and event photography, 15 of them self employed, which is reflected by my portfolio. I've been shooting weddings since 2000 either with a partner as the lead photographer, or solo, or as freelance agent, and consultant.

I use professional Canon equipment, and redundant backup equipment if something catastrophic were to happen to a major piece of equipment, remote control cameras if needed, and the ability to shoot discretely and quietly, rather than interfering with your wedding, thanks in part to my ultra quiet camera system. I feel that since you've sacrificed quite a lot to stand-out on your wedding day, you don't need me taking the attention off of you by stomping around, or working with noisy camera shutters & lens motors, beeps, or having to use flash during the ceremony. Because of my ultra-fast professional lenses, I can shoot in available light, and get great shots, unlike many of my competitors who buy "consumer" grade lenses, and must resort to using flash for every single indoor shot.

In addition, I am fully insured with a commercial policy, rather than a home-owner's or renters policy, which doesn't cover professional shoots, as some photographers have learned the hard way. Many of my competitors who charge less, don't have insurance coverage of any kind, and are not protected in the unlikely event that something unexpected happens. In the unlikely event that something causes a major malfunction in one or more of my cameras, instead of reaching into my pocket & pulling out a cell phone, like many of my competitors would have to do, I will continue shooting with professional back-up equipment, which came in handy once when I was driven into a pond at a golf course back in 2006. If it weren't for me bringing along backup equipment, I wouldn't have been able to complete my job to my client's satisfactory. I let my insurance company take care of things from there, but my first concern was to keep my client happy!

For my wedding photography service, which includes up to 10 hours of coverage, a beautiful modern-style wedding album, a DVD containing printable and e-mail sized edited images, I charge a very modest professional fee of $1,800.00. Weddings that require airline flight, must include travel expenses. I also include a free engagement sitting, with a complementary 8x10 photo, matted for signing by your friends and family at your reception. When you book a wedding with me, you also get a free wedding day consultation to help plan your wedding day better than some wedding planners can.

Additionally, I offer a 10% discount for those who are actively serving in our armed forces for full-day weddings. I can also shoot for a 1/2 day wedding, / up to 4 hours coverage for $999.99

My delivery time is typically 3 to 6 weeks, depending on work-flow.. Sometimes sooner. Please be sure to contact me with the date of your wedding. I am currently booking weddings in 2012, 2013, & 2014. I'll require a non-refundable deposit to secure that date for nothing other than your wedding. Additionally, I don't shoot more than one wedding in a weekend, so that I remain artistically fresh, and so I can deliver your pictures without back-up delays.
