Lower Slaughter Village

Lower Slaughter is a small but beautiful village in Gloucestershire and is very much a tourist attraction.
The River Eye runs along Becky Hill (the main street) in the middle of the village and it creates a wonderful setting.
There are many quaint cottages that line both sides of Becky Hill and a village hall.
The 19th Century Water Mill is now a museum, though the water wheel is still in action.
The parish church of St. Mary dates back to the 13th Century. A delightful little village which is well worth a visit if you are in this area.
