Jane has very good eyes. I was following the line of the wall. My favourite walls are dry stone.

I find that lock and chain very intriguing. The line of the wall and the line of the snow going up the hill make for a good composition. V

Dry stone walls are not often seen here(although a neighbour builds his own)...this is a great example showing the intricacies, texture and tones of the stonework...great colouring and background...V

One of the things I always remember about Yorkshire, is the miles of dry stone walls, which I love! Terrific perspective in this lovely shot. VV
