Throughout my life
You were always here for me.
Your words of wisdom
Your loving ways.

I could talk of anything
You would always listen.
You gave your view
And your understanding.

We were close
Yet many years apart.
But your love
Was never any different.

A year today you where taken from us
So suddenly and so quickly.
So many words unsaid
So many questions to ask.

A difficult year
To come to terms with our loss.
As each day gets easier
The memories of you get deeper.

Dad and I were so lost loosing you
So shocked of your sudden passing.
We thought you would live forever
Never to be taken from us...
