Every afternoon, like clockwork, with the dimming light and lengthening shadows, the delicate Bromie flowers begin to close up shop for the evening.
Youngstud the Adolescent makes his final rounds, traveling from pool to pool for that last sip of nectar. On the very last one, he encounters a
pesky intruder burrowed into the closing flower. "Hey Earwig! Get outta my stash!" With one swift flick, he sends the Earwig flying, and then lowers
his head into the flower for a final sip. Within the hour, all the flowers have turned into tiny balls, protected from the evening rains which
freshen the pools and nourish the buds, awaiting their opening with tomorrow's morning sun...and the return of the Gold Dust Tribe.
