I encountered this Anole checking out the 'Uki'uki (one of my favorite native
Hawaiian plants)in our yard a couple of days ago. We have a zillion Geckos, of course,
but this is the first Anole I have noticed, and yesterday I found the
brown one as well. I swear that these are new additions to our area,
much like the Coqui frog, whose population has exploded here, just in
the last year. Our jungle continues to diversify, but hopefully not at
the expense of our native flora and fauna...
