An exquisite image, rich in human values, and expressing the strength, dignity, and culture of an entire culture. Your work, it's own way, reminds me of the portraits made of the North American Indian during the early 20th century by Edward Curtis. This image of Manawanui is very much in the spirit of the 1903 Curtis portrait of Mosa, Mohave Girl.

The whole series of the Hawaiian people is amazing and this one is one of the best.
