This is the largest International Long Distance Ourigger Canoe race in the world.
The Women's race starts at the Kailua-Kona Pier and finishes at Pu'u Honua O' Honaunau (City of Refuge), 18 miles away.
The Men's race then starts at Pu'u Honu O' Honaunau and finishes back at at the bay of Kailua-Kona...
