We spent a couple of weeks in Texas, first for Bre's reunion with the guys he served in Vietnam with more than 40 years ago, then combining work and relaxation in other spots in Texas. Everywhere we went we saw signs asking people to pray for rain. Everything we saw was dry and brown except for spring-fed creeks and rivers. Such a contrast with home. I know that people up and down the Mississippi river would love to be able to share with them. Prayers to all affected by drought and wildfires and roaring floods.
