Red-bellied Woodpecker

I woke up early this morning to photograph the birds in my yard. I forgot to put my camera and lens in an un-air-conditioned area and the first half hour was spent in wiping moisture from my equipment. It would have been great conditions for a portrait-beautiful light and the condensation adding a pleasing blurriness to my photos. Not so great for bird photography.

Well, you caught him perfectly. What a great shot and great detail. I did that same thing yesterday morning and got a fuzzy dog until I realied I was all fogged up!

So glad you said about the moisture. I've been having the moisture streaks in the past few days, especially when the humidity is very high.

Right about the condensation....makes a nice 'soft filter' but tough on details. :D
