The former peony farm of John Redeker at Spring Valley Nature Sanctuary. At one time the farm boasted over 17,000 plants of 448 varieties. The farm was started in 1928 and continued until 1958. In 1991 the Schaumburg Community Garden Club began restoring the flowers to their former glory.
