Male piping plover "Monty" waiting for his significant other to return from migration. Monty winters in Texas and Rose in Florida. Monty arrived at Montrose Beach last Thursday.
Unfortunately Rose has not been seen since February in her winter home in Anclote Key, Florida. Monty passed away unexpectedly on May 13. Their lives touched all that knew them.
