Until independence, Mysore was the seat of the maharahjas for the state of Mysore which covered about one-third of present day Karnataka. The illustrious and ornate Maharaja’s Palace is on of the main attractions and is particularly captivating on Sunday nights when it is illuminated with 97,000 light bulbs. The Devaraja fruit and vegetable market is bustling with activity and colour and is a great place to observe the daily life.

Really excellent treatment of a lovely subject, technically very fine images, very crisp where they should be and smooth where they should be too.
