Backpacking trip to Golden Ears in Maple Ridge, BC - October 10/11, 2009
We picked a beautiful weekend and headed out with a great group of friends. It's a long slog up and an even longer slog down (24km return and 1521m of elevation gain), but being out in nature is so rewarding. During the night it was a bit chilly, maybe down to -10C but the cold was soon forgotten as we scrambled to the summit in the morning. The view, just stunning!
