Nice pic's. Perhaps you can take 2 pic's of the same shot. One metered on the trees and one on the sky. Combine them in PS so that the sky is also a little bit more interesting. Show that to me again.....I''ll come back

I like the image. As the one poster mentioned you have just enough of the sky.
Also, the close-up bushes and stuff on the bottom, left and right, provide a nice frame for the shot. Combine those with the sky on the top and my attention is drawn to the strip of colored trees, along with the sand trap.
but then again I'm "not an expert".... (but I like it)

i like the composition. you want some sky in the shot to provide frame of reference. and you have just enought.
the fall foliage is beautiful.

Pretty good for your first attempt. I wish there was more of the golf course to see, but you must have cropped it off. The sky is not so interesting so aim a little lower. Get the tripod and keep at it!
