Young fox at ISO 25,600 (photo looks bright but in person it is dark and barely see the fox)

At ISO 25,600 I could only get 1/15s shutter speed at f/2.8. Shot with a Canon 7D MK2 and 70-200 2.8L IS III. Braced against a vehicle.

Nice for the low light. Kinda neat how the poor conditions are similar to a shot in good conditions in the film days.

Thanks. The Canon 70-200 2.8L IS III is my most used lens, often with a 1.4x III. For shooting in near-darkness, I take the 1.4x III off and make use of the f/2.8 of the lens to get enough shutter speed to handhold the shot.

Looks like a great shot to me. The 70-200mm is my "go to" lens for most of the images I take!
