After some freezing rain this morning the owl didn't seem any worse for the wear. I found it preening itself on a high perch. It then returned to hunting, flying a just caught vole over my head and landing on the perch you see above. You can see the prey in its grasp on the right. The owl then went to cache the vole for a 'rainy day'.
