The Peregrine Falcon is no longer considered a Species at Risk here in Ontario. The bird has made a great recovery since its numbers dwindled in the 1960's due to the wide-spread use of the pesticide DDT. Peregrines can be found nesting on cliffs and in the city they can be found near the top of tall structures such as buildings and even bridges.
