The great gray owl showed well tonight at 5:40 pm. Right by the road and up close. I moved further down the road to get this wider perspective.

There are at least 4 great gray owls in the Ottawa area that I am aware of. Five if you count the one in the Pontiac. There's a small movement of these owls this winter.
