Mud Lake after the storm

Looking along the main trail with the lookout platform to the left. Couple of folks headed back after losing sight of the trail due to all the downed trees. Looking at the wood bridge from the platform, I could see a portion of the handrail missing. This wood bridge had just been rebuilt last fall.

I have been told that there are many trees down along the trail from the lookout platform until just before the long wood bridge. Last years screech owl tree is still up. I wasn't able to locate the spring roost tree only because there are so many downed trees in the way.
