When 4 to 5 great gray owls are concentrated in one location, sometimes conflict ensues as these 2 in Gatineau, Quebec demonstrate. Sometimes all 3 would go after each other. People who go there regularly have seen 4 at the same time. Perhaps another one in an adjacent field. We had some great times there in Gatineau watching these owls. Few people knew about the location. Even fewer knew about 2 great gray owls just a few kilometers up the same road (most make the right turn back towards Ottawa and don't bother to drive down the hill.
