Although I have read that foxes do most of their hunting from sunset to dawn, the ones at this and other locations are out a lot during the day now. Yes, I've seen them at various locations this spring and received tips about others. Perhaps it's opportunistic given the number of voles and other rodents visible after the snow melt. As well, mother foxes have many mouths to feed at this time of year with young still in dens.
