A dozen were seen at the Britannia Conservation area. In addition to picking off berries some were hawking for insects. They would fly from their perch and seemingly catch something in the air and then return to the same perch. From ground level I did not see any insect, ok maybe just one, despite the very mild temps.
Apparently I had just missed a flock of several dozen Bohemian Waxwings at a feeder station in the west end.
