Thanks for sharing. I look forward to your posts on The Weather Network. It's amazing how well you do at finding so much wildlife. I wish I could find a fraction of what you find. I'm sure there is a lot of time and a lot of experience involved.

Excellent pictures. Love your owls pictures. Source of inspiration for a beginer birder/ potographer like myself.
Do I want to trade jobs? Depends what you do. Nah, I like it there. Best workplace I have ever had, in so many respects; but thanks for the offer.
I heve seen your pictures before, and they are amazing.
Thank you for your kind comments. I took a quick look at your galleries and you have some cracking pictures especially those of whales. I'll take a closer look this evening when I have a bit more time.
You have so many exceptional wildlife photos here. Thanks for the comments on my "window and reflections" gallery. By the way, that is a hanging poster in the store window. I was outside waiting for someone to walk by to catch the reflection like she was pouncing on him.
Great collection of galleries, I really enjoyed your work!
Amazing,incredible. Every shot is great
This website is very Amazing and Great.
Excellent gallery. I like the great horned owl photos, and I am looking forward to adding some to my website. I just hope they are half as good as yours.
Too many incredible photos for me to comment on every one which deserves it. Suffice it to say your galleries are inspirational and exceptional - even moreso since we share a passion for alot of the same subjects.
golfpic - been looking at your owl shots for a while now - very nice.
I noticed that a few were taken with 400/5.6 most with the 100-400 IS - do you have both? And of course, which is better for owls?
This site is great!
I enjpy you galleries very much. Keep it up.
Merry X'mas and Happy New Year.

I really admire your excellent photos. Great to see the interaction with wild birds, as I've also been fortunate to have a close friend in a Western Scrub Jay which I've been feeding for the past four years. Truly an honor! Again, wonderful work!
is considering to add a new feature for guest photo-globetrotters.

You've such a great talent for photography, my compliments!
Benoitjo, you're too kind. Thanks for leaving the comment.
Very , very nice !! I love your birds and boreal pics. The coyote is fabulous too !!
You've got the eye to show us real beauty, keep going !
Thanks. I just missed another great opportunity to photograph the Aurora Borealis on March 9th, 2004. I still have the 100eg bag but don't use it now since I bought the 300D camera. Too bad to hear about the G2 LCD. Here's a link to a diagram showing the LCD setup.
Very nice pix. Specially the Borealis ones!!
Do you still have the canon_gadget_bag_100eg pic (dp review posting)
trying to fix my broken LCD on my G2 that my daughters always want to use...
Cheers from Sweden
Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment. I can tell you "really" like Savannah. Looks like a nice place to go visit.
Hello, I enjoyed your photos.Thx for sharing. :)
Thanks for your kind words. I've visited your galleries and you have some lovely images there. The indoor low-light lens you're referring to is the Canon 50mm 1.8 II. I love it and at the price it's selling for it's a bargain. As for practice, I hope to learn something everytime I play...er, shoot with the DRebel :)
Thanks for sharing your pics with your Digital Rebel. I have one as well. I am interested in the low indoor lighting lens. Your pictures are excellent! Donna:)
PS. I have just gotten the camera and need a tad practice! LOL
Thanks for your kind words. Yeah, the weather was just great. While I was down there I heard my share of bad weather stories. The week and a half before my visit was rainy, foggy and miserable from what I was told. Actually I was not unhappy to get some inclement weather my last day as I had wanted to experience the Cabot Trail in good and not so good weather just to get a feel for the atmosphere under such conditions. Glad I could help bring back some memories for those who have made the trip down to the Cabot Trail. I wish I had more time too. I plan to go back soon but this time I plan to stay longer. There is just so much more to see and explore as I barely touched it the last trip there. Cape Breton was voted Number 2 favourite Island (North America) to visit by Conde Nast magazine (latest issue). I like my new 300D very much. I like how fast the AF is and the very useable high ISO. I plan to get a 70-300mm zoom which will give me some reach for wildlife shots. However, I still like my G2 and S400 and will continue to use them as well.
Amazing Cabot Trail images! I too experienced perfect weather on my trip there in 2001. I wished I had more time to record all the details I seem too have missed judging by your trip; but non the less, it was great to find your site. I remember camping right by the ocean our first night, and it was warm enough to just lay on the rocks and look up to to the vast star filled night. I'll have to agree, it's one of the most incredible places I have been in my life. I shall return one of these days.
Buy the way how do you like your Canon 300D?
Thank you for your nice comment on my gallery here. You have some nice photographs here and now I know how looks the Adobe offices like. lol
I love the dome sequence, especially #8. Very nice composition. The range of light/shadows is nicely rendered. Thanks for sharing.
