The Gym which was built in 1928, is located in Litchfield Park Arizona. It is currently being used by the Litchfield Park Elementary school, but is scheduled to be demolished and replaced by a new structure soon. It was the home court of the Litchfield Park Owls before the school was closed and replaced by a new school in nearby Avondale. The new school is Agua Fria Owls. When I was in High School at Tolleson Arizona from 1948-1952, Litchfield was our biggest rival. The kids in Avondale could attend either Litchfield or Tolleson. This made the rivalry even more personal since kids played against others that they had attended Elementary school with. Next door neighbors competed against each other. < http://www.azcentral.com/community/swvalley/articles/2011/02/04/20110204litchfield-elementary-school-upgrade-buildings.html >
