Picture taken by Gypsy J.R. Hanna in Mid 1950. This picture is in the book "Greatest Airlift: Combat Cargo", by Annis Thompson. The crash occurred because a cable was extended across the River near K-47. Wells was the pilot and J. R. Hanna the RO. The co-pilot Dick Hughes, sustained injury to his legs.
