Photos from the St. Louis Railroad Prototype Modeler's Meet, hosted by John Golden and Dave Davis, at the Gateway Convention Center in Collinsville, IL on August 20th, 2005.
The 2005 RPM Meet was the first held at the Gateway Convention Center. We rented a 5000 sq. ft. room and it was not big enough. Over 140 attendees were present, including 13 quality vendors and seven historical societies, plus a FreeMo demonstration layout.
We held an RPM Meet Social/Ops Session at Brad Joseph's House in O'Fallon, IL on Friday night, and it was attended by 35 guests. Brad has a wonderful UP-theme layout with sound and DCC.
Most impressive set of photos. St louis looks like a great place to model. I also liked the other photos-I got one ride on a big transport-a 141 quite a few years ago. I always enjoyed flying military air, so long as take-offs equalled landings. There was this time when a RIANG 130 was prepared to drop us off over Ft Bragg-AND WE WERE LEG AND WANTED TO STAY THAT WAY! Thanks for sharing
