Carole, I always wanted to crit your barns and so here goes. These remind me of the barns where I grew up in the midwest. These works closely represent what I recall of those days in particular fall days wandering around to find something to do. These are good memories and they are brought out by these warm works of yours. I always liked working on these old structures as a young carpenter. The joinery is so earthy. Mortice and tennon with pegs instead of nails. Love it!! Anyway, this doesn't necessarily tell you so much about your work as it does the feelings it gives. That is a good thing, right?
