At times the path was just wide enough to allow riders to pass. Vertical abyss was literally
under your foot. However for the most parts dense foliage grew in virtually every crevice of
the lava, I kept thinking, should mule fall, I will try to hold on to some branches... Of course my
dear mule Koa was never even close to falling. All 26 180 degree turns were taken without an issue.
