44C-02 Red flags are for Sissies

We were very surprised to see how many people were ignoring the red warning flags and kept surfing
and swimming. Admittedly, some of them developed great proficiency in riding these steep waves.

You may think the red flags are for sissies, but at this beach, called Sandys, not knowing the ocean, currents and break at this beach can get you killed. Its one of the most dangerous beaches in the world the most dangerous in Hawaii. Its too bad you wern't there on a day with a large easterly swell. Then you'd see the power of the ocean. Pay attention and respect the ocean and you might survive.
