Such trails can be found on several places alongside of the golf courses and parking lots
of the Waikoloa/Kohala resorts. Pardon me for being distrustful, but based on experience with
fate of Carthaginian II in Lahaina, I am now skeptic about the authenticity or importance of
any historic attractions on Hawaii. Some are barely set up with a goal of getting paying visitors.
Here several plaques placed at lava tube entries or caves allege findings of organic matter
suggesting earlier habitation. This is it. Nothing else is to be seen on these places.
