Hainan, an island of coconut trees, is touted as the Hawaii of the East. I visited this hometown of my father in Mar 2008. The trip was made mainly to visit my father's home and relatives and prayer offering for ancestors. While there, we celebrated my father's 81th birthday. I am glad to do this for my dad, and one he has looked forward to all his life. Not much of sightseeing though, but we did have a insight to the place our ancestors lived and worked for generations.
