The Lomond Subdivision was one of those classic prairie branchlines where grain was the
only game in town. The Subdivision gradually got shorter over the years as segments of
track were taken out of service. As usual, we arrived too late but could still at this
point imagine what the line must have looked like in the glory days. These were the last
revenue cars being lifted at the Parrish and Heimbecker elevators in Mossleigh.
