A juvenile Black-crowned Night Heron - Lake Overcup, via from HWY 95 entrance, Conway County, Arkansas. Added information from Charles Mills regarding the rarity of this bird in this part of Arkansas in February:

It's rarer still for the season. There are only about a dozen records for Arkansas in the Arkansas Audubon Society Online Database (1985 forward) for the winter months (January and February) and most of these were reported from locations well in the southern half of the state. The photo provides excellent documentation.
