This must be one of the most memorable images I have seen in a while about Age and Youth and their many burdens. The old figure, decrepit, trying to support itself ever so clumsily, looks down to the ground as if seeing its only certain future. The child looks back, as if tracing its past, clutching a bottle of sugared soda, surely a balm against Life's many but uncertain wounds. This is a true masterwork, Gilles. C'est formidable. Bravo!!!!
