Gasparilla Bay

It was a beautiful clear day in February 2009 in South West Florida. There were Osprey, Cormorants, Ibis and Sea Gulls, but the highlight of the day was to see White Pelicans. The White Pelican is the second largest flying bird in North Ammerica. They can be seen November through March along the Gulf Coast of Florida. The group in these pictures have been tracked to migrate between Gasparilla Bay, Florida and Grand Teton, Wyoming!
