Bryce National Park, Utah

The colors, the hoodoos, the trails, Bryce is just great in all aspects. Hoodoos -- a pillar of rock, usually of fantastic shape, left by erosion. Hoodoo means to cast a spell and they do. We enjoyed hiking here because you were not just on a trail looking down, you were hiking among the hoodoos and giant rock formations on the ground level. You were more in contact with nature. We hiked from Sunset Point to Sunrise Point on the Rim Trail, then did the Queens Garden trail and the Navajo Loop Trail. We also made stops at Inspiration point in the afternoon and in the evening to get sunset shots.
