This is what your bike looks like without the bevel gear housing. It was kind of a bear to finagle the housing out due to the frame and exhaust. It was tougher to get back in. Make sure you put some tape over the shift shaft splines so they don't tear up the rubber gasket(when you're re-installing the housing). Also be careful that you have all the washers in the right places. BTW, the manual said to remove the oil lines, you don't need to.
